6/20/2018 0 Comments Moving to nourishMoving your body every day can be a beautiful way to nourish yourself. But, we live in a culture that constantly drills into us the idea that exercise is all about burning calories. So we force ourselves into some type of movement with the mindset that "if I workout for X amount of time then I will burn off X number of calories." This often turns the exercise into something we dread or into a "have to." What if, instead, we approached our workout with the mindset of, "moving my body allows my mind to let go of the day's worries, gives me time to connect with God, feeds my soul and spirit with quiet, rejuvenated energy." Wouldn't this turn your exercise into something more nourishing than punishing?
